JNM, Amman-Jordan (Saturday, June 23, 2007): The Jordan National Movement (JNM) held its first public meeting on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 6:00PM in the town of Swaisah, Salt region. More than 1500 members, from different parts of Jordan, attended this meeting. Holding this town meeting inside Jordan with this significant number of JNM activists sends a strong message to the corrupt royal family and its henchmen, and to the watching world, that JNM is strong and present on the Jordanian street and a slap on the face of those individuals who undermine the effectiveness of this growing organization. At the conclusion of this significant gathering, attendees issued a stern statement calling for the unconditional and immediate release of former MP Dr. Ahmed Oweidi Al-Abbadi, who has been abducted by the terrorist and criminal King Abdullah II of Jordan, on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
